How it works
eSIM in four steps
An eSIM is a digital SIM profile. These plans are for mobile data; they don't include a phone number.
- Step 1
Check your phone
Your phone needs to support eSIM and be carrier-unlocked. The check below takes a minute.
- Step 2
Compare and buy
Choose a plan on data, days, hotspot and activation terms. Pay by card or crypto.
- Step 3
Install
After payment is confirmed, scan the QR code from your order page or email, or enter the manual code. You need an internet connection to install.
- Step 4
Switch on when you arrive
Turn on the eSIM line and enable data roaming for it. Keep your usual SIM on for calls if you want.
Is my phone compatible?
Most recent flagship phones support eSIM, but support varies by model, the country it was sold in, and the carrier. Check directly on the device:
iPhone
- Go to Settings → General → About. If you see a section for Digital SIM or an EID number, your iPhone supports eSIM.
- Go to Settings → General → About → Carrier Lock. It should say No SIM restrictions.
Android
- Open Settings → Network & internet → SIMs (wording varies by brand). An option to add an eSIM or “Download a SIM” indicates support.
- Dialling *#06# shows an EID on many eSIM-capable phones.
- Ask your carrier whether the phone is unlocked.
If you're unsure, ask us through the support form with your exact model before buying.
Installing
- Install while connected to Wi-Fi. Many people install the day before travelling — check the plan's activation term first.
- Each QR code is for one device and can normally be installed only once. Don't delete the eSIM profile after installing.
- Label the new line (e.g. “Travel”) so it's easy to pick it for mobile data.
On arrival
- Select the travel eSIM as your mobile data line and turn on data roaming for it.
- Check remaining data from your order page.
